People always say “Before you know it you’ll be out of school and into the real world.” Well it’s true, I’m a senior this year at Jefferson Morgan High School. I never thought it would go this fast. When I was a freshman I couldn’t wait to graduate and now that it’s here I don’t want to. I play softball and volleyball and I’m dreading my last game as a Jefferson Morgan Rocket.

My plan after high school is to go to college somewhere close. I really want to go to California University because it close and they offer what I want to concentrate in. I’m either going for Business Administration or Mathematics. Ever since elementary school my favorite subject was math. Leaving a little school like Jefferson and going into a big college like California University is a big step.

Some advice I have for any underclassmen are to have fun, work hard in school, and enjoy your time in high school because you will miss it. For any high school athletes, play every game like it’s your last. Go to as many sporting events as you can and have fun. Also one last thing is to study hard. If you plan on going to school after high school then you’ll need a good SAT score. Just enjoy your last years in high school because it will be over before you know it.
