This upcoming year should be one to remember. Big things are coming my way along with 2016. My senior year of high school is coming to an end and I am finally graduating. Not only am I going to be a high school graduate, but I am going to be starting college as well. Everything major in my life so far is happening in this upcoming year.

The new year definitely has a lot to offer me. My future plans are being thrown into my lap as soon as I graduate from Jefferson. This will be the year that I make major decisions in my life. These decisions will affect my future plans and my career later in life. My emotions are on edge. Am I excited to graduate or am I scared? I would say that I am definitely both of these. I am excited to take the next step in my life, but also sad to leave this life behind that I have lived for 18 years.

Many other major events are happening in my life this upcoming year. I am leaving home, making new friends at college, getting my own car and anything else that 2016 has to give to me. This is also the year that I will need to get a job and step out into the real world. This is something I am actually looking forward to. Making my own money and having a responsibility will give me more experience for the future. I am very excited for 2016 to get here and what it has to offer me.
