From December 12th to the 16th students at Jefferson-Morgan will be able to participate in the schools winter spirit week. This will be the second spirit week of school year and this one will (obviously) be themed around the Holidays, which is coming up in two weeks!

For spirit week there is a different theme for everyday. The students will be allowed to dress up how ever they want fitting the theme of that particular day. With five days of creative freedom it will be very interesting to see what some students can come up with.

Monday was “Pajama Day” and students were allowed to come in whatever they went to bed in (if it’s appropriate of course). This saw students walking around in everything from shorts and a t-shirt too actual onesies.

Tuesday is “Winter Pair Day”. Students are told to find a friend and dress up as the iconic Holiday pairs. The pairs can be anything from cookies and milk, a tree and a present, and Santa to Mrs. Claus. With such an interesting stipulation this day definitely has the opportunity to be the craziest day with just a couple of creative students.

Wednesday’s theme is a staple in the holiday season. The theme for this day will be “Ugly Sweater Day”. Wearing an ugly sweater during this time of year is just a natural thing that many people already participate in. This day will probably just be a couple of students in truly outlandish sweaters, but the majority will definitely be wearing just the standard sweater.

Thursday’s theme is “Be the Holiday”. Students are told to embrace the christmas spirit and incorporate that into their outfits that day. This day almost makes it seem like the student council was maybe running out of ideas. Nonetheless this day still has the potential to be the most interesting day. Like Tuesday and Wednesday’s theme this one is in the hands of creative students. With the right mindset it will be nice to see what students can come up with.

Last, but certainly not least, is Friday. The theme for this day is “Dress as your Favorite Christmas Character”. This could be anything from your favorite human elf to jolly old Saint Nick himself. This day will most definitely see the most students participating in it. It’ll be a chance for the students to dress up as their favorite holiday personalities.

Now that we’ve talked about all of the themes it’s time to see what students can pull off this week with Jefferson-Morgan’s Winter Spirit Week.
