Sue Ann Headley, Queen of the KinderBees, has been employed by Jefferson-Morgan for 31 years.

As a kindergarten teacher, Headley teaches JM’s youngest Rockets how to become students. Her favorite part about being a kindergarten teacher is watching her new kids mature and turn into kinderbee students.

“I love watching my babies grow into kindergarten students. They are so little and new when they arrive in August and when they leave me in June they are students ready for first grade,” said Headley.

Headley grew up in Rices Landing and is a 1986 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan.  After high school, she attended Waynesburg College.

Her favorite things to do outside of school include reading while laying by the pool, spending time with her family, and golfing.

In fact, Headley’s dream job would be to become a professional golfer- unless of course, she could spend her days with the Pittsburgh Penguins.  The family dog is named Geno after one of Mrs. Headley’s favorite players.

Mrs. Headley loves making new memories every year with a new group of kinderbees.

For the students of JM, Headley offers this advice: “Always be true to yourself and never be afraid to take a risk or two.”
