Leo club has exciting projects coming up for the spring.
One of the many exciting projects the club has coming up is roadside clean up and we participate in road side clean up 4 times a year. Twice in the fall, and twice in the spring. Also, we are planning to make an effort to plant new flowers, when it stops raining. Roadside cleanup has successful for the past years, we have participated in it. We take a group of kids during the school day to pick up trash on our roads to help make our community look better. Plus it helps get the kids involved with their neighborhood. “Of course i’m always excited to better my community i can. There is a lot of trash in our neighborhood but i would love to help turn that around,” said Michael Pochron. I am excited to say that i will be participating in one of the two days for roadside clean up
When we start to get nice weather i will be participating in cleaning up the courtyard and planting flowers. “I plan on participating in courtyard clean up to make the school look nicer and do something good for the school,” said Pochron. In the beginning of the year Leo Club collected flowers and bulbs so we had something to start out with when spring was here and spring has sprung!
Saturday Michael Pochron, Keon Dohn and Jordan Hess will be helping Mrs. Huba and others from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. They will be setting up for the Clarksville Lion Club Student Of the Month banquet. Keon and Michael will also be attending the banquet because they were announced student of the month.
So as you see Leo Club will be busy for the next two months! Keeping up the good work in our community!
