Facebook has a lot of good because of how people use the app. Facebook is used as a reliable news resource for what is going around in a community or just news in general. 

Some negatives of Facebook are that people can find personal information about you. People can stalk you and find out where you are. There is a higher chance of being robbed from sharing where you are at.

Facebook is a great application for your every need but it is not an app to let you personal information out on. Other than that the app is a great app for meeting people.
