NHS Angel Tree Project a Success
National Honor Society students, JM faculty and staff donated gifts to Catholic Charities of Waynesburg for the annual Angel Tree Project.
Carrington Teasdale, NHS Vice President, organized this year’s gift drive.
“I love being able to buy these gifts for the kids because they’re not fortunate enough to get these from their parents,” said by Teasdale. “This year I got a barbie doll for a younger girl.”
Catholic Charities provides information for each child on an angel shaped piece of paper. Wish list items are suggested items that the child is interested in or would enjoy. Those purchasing gifts are asked to donate at least one gift for the child. Gifts are returned unwrapped but must include gift bags or wrapping paper.
