JM Marching Band Performs at Waynesburg Christmas Parade
Waynesburg Christmas Parade was held on Saturday, December 2.
Chamber Executive Director Melody Longstreth stated that there were 82 total bands, floats, trucks, antique cars, dancers, and more that traveled down High Street in Waynesburg. The Grand Marshals of this parade were seated in a white carriage pulled by Belgian draft horses. Those in attendance included Miss Merry Christmas Riley Payo and Miss Rain Day Eden Rogers, daughter of JM teacher Mrs. Rogers.
The Jefferson-Morgan marching band, under the direction of Mrs. Dana Svensson, wore Santa hats and played “Deck the Halls” and “Angels we have Heard on High”.
