Engineer the Future event at Carnegie Science Center
Several middle school and high school students participated in the Engineer the Future event at Carnegie Science Center on February 22nd, 2019 with Mrs. Boyle and Mr. Pratt.
The students left in the morning then returned later on around 2:00 p.m.
On Thursday and Friday, high school students are invited to Career Café, a fast-paced introduction to engineering careers in an informal setting. They can check out dazzling demos, enjoy café-style beverages, and chat with industry professionals.
The event is meant to inspire students who cone to explore careers in engineering as they engage in hands-on activities, interact with professionals in the field and check out presentations at more than 40 event tables.
Tyler Woolen is a senior and a fourth year Journalism student.
