Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Kyle Clayton as its student of the month for September .

Son of Jason and Julie Clayton of Waynesburg, Clayton is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where he maintains a 3.83 GPA.

Clayton is a four-year member of the golf team (captain three-years), a four-year member of the baseball team (captain two-years), and a four-year member of the Academic Team. Clayton is also a member of SADD.

He was selected for all-county teams for both golf and baseball. He was selected to All-WPIAL for golf, earned the Sportsmanship Award, and was named Observer Reporter Athlete of the Week.

Clayton assists with the Greene County Country Club Golf Camp and has volunteered for both baseball and class car washes.  He helps with Greene County Country Club building maintenance.

In the fall, Clayton will attend California University of Pennsylvania as an undecided major.  He plans to play golf at the collegiate level.
