Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Daria Morris as its student of the month for April.

Daughter of Sherry and Tony Morris of Waynesburg, Morris is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 3.04 GPA

Morris is a member of drama club and a cast member of The Drowsy Chaperone.  She is a member of HOSA and a contributor for the Rocket Reporter student newspaper. 

Morris is an honor roll student at Greene County Career and Technical Center.  She has earned Presidential Education Awards for Educational Excellence and Educational Achievement.

She has completed community service through GCCTC.

In the fall, Morris plans to attend Westmoreland County Community College to study diagnostic medical sonography.
