Amber McAnany Named Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club October Student of the Month
Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Amber McAnany as its student of the month for October.
Daughter of Melanie and John McAnany of Clarksville, McAnany is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High school where she maintains a 4.36 GPA.
McAnany is an honor roll student, a four-year National Honor Society member, and a four-year Leo club member. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horses.
She serves her community and school by participating in roadside clean up, packing backpacks for the schools weekend food program, and ringing bells for the Salvation Army. She also helps out at a local stable.
McAnany was a recipient of the 2021 NMSI Stem Star Award. She has also been named to the Penn State 4.0 Club.
After high school, McAnany plans to attend Ohio State University to pursue a career in anesthesiology.
