Aidan Kern Named Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club December Student of the Month
Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Aidan Kern as its student of the month for December.
Son of Jeremy and Marti Kern, Kern is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where he maintains a 4.02 GPA.
Kern is president of student council, and he is a member of drama club, engineering club, academic team, Principal Advisory Council, Envirothon, and SADD. He is a member of the National Honor Society and President of Leo Club.
He is a member of Troop 1168 where he is a Life Scout. He is the recipient of the Honor Camper Award. Currently, Kern is in the final stages of completing Eagle Scout requirements.
Kern is a six-year member of the Jefferson-Morgan band and a PMEA District Band Attendee.
He is a member of the AV Booth crew at school. Kern serves as pianist at Waynesburg First Church of the Nazarene and plays for various churches and school events.
He is the recipient of the Susan B. Anthony Award.
After graduation, Kern plans to study Mechanical Engineering or Mortuary Science.
