Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Madelynn Rishell as its student of the month for January.

A child of Keith Rishell and Kelly Cummins, Rishell is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where they maintain a 3.54 GPA.

Rishell is a member of the Jefferson-Morgan marching band, concert band, Spanish club, drama club, GCMEA. Rishell is also in the process of creating an LGBTQ+ club at school. 

They have been selected to attend PMEA District band.

Rishell has created an audio engineering class. 

After graduation, they plan to attend West Virginia University to study music.
