Catherine Diamond Named National Math and Science Initiative Stem Star Award Recipient
Catherine Diamond has been selected as a recipient of the NMSI Stem Star Award.
A daughter of Anna and Ray Diamond of Waynesburg, Diamond is a junior at Jefferson-Morgan High School.
Diamond is a two-year member of the softball team and a one-year member of the basketball team. She is an editor for The Rocket Reporter, a member of National Honor Society, and Leo Club. She has earned high honors grades 9-11.
“I am enrolled in AP courses because they help prepare me for college, and they challenge me academically,” said Diamond.
Diamond is enrolled in AP Calculus, AP Government and Politics, and AP Language and Composition.
