During Halloween season witches are a popular hoax or myth. Witches can be associated with black cats, but where did it all start? Black cats are associated with witches because just like how witches only come out and roam during the night, so do black cats. Which made the theory and connection that black cats are servants to witches.
Witches are people who practiced witchcraft, which means they learned and completed spells and potions. In the early years being a witch was deadly. If you were caught or thought to be practicing witchcraft, spells, or potions you would be sentenced to death. Witches are commonly known as green beings with warts, big pointy noses, black hats, long dresses, and pointy curly shoes that rode on broomsticks with cats. In the later years the witch perception has changed. Witches now can be any women to learn or practice witchcraft as they have learned to hide themselves among the other humans.
Although witches have and can complete many spells, one of the infamous spells a witch can do is transformation between animals and their witch form. Many animals the witch will morph into can be toads, cats, or rats. These animals are mainly associated with the witches as their pets and what they can morph into during their roam of the night.
