Hagan Scholarship Foundation
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship. It is designed to provide each person with the opportunity to graduate college debt free. Students must graduate from a public high school located in a county in the United States having fewer than 50,000 other students. The scholarship provides up to $6,000 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters; 622 Hagan Scholars from 37 states currently attend 236 colleges and universities.
The eligability requirements are: You must be a citizen of the United States, must attend an eligible public high school, must be a student in the high school graduating class, must have achieved a 3.50 CGPA or higher, must score a 23 or higher on the ACT (Composite Score); or 1,150 or higher on the SAT (Total Score), must enroll at an eligible four year college or university the fall semester following high school graduation, must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each academic year of college, must complete the FASFA in 2018 (EFC must be less than $6, 500), must apply for eligible Federal and State grants, and you must not have been convicted of a felony.
The scholarship is a very good one and recommended that many students try and take it. This is a good opportunity for students.
