Jordan Hess Named Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club December Student of the Month
Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Jordan Hess as its student of the month for December.
Son of Eva Zorich and Russ Hess of Waynesburg, Hess is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where he maintains a 3.5 GPA.
Hess is member of Art Club, JM Rocket Band, concert band, Leo Club, Upward Bound and county band.
During his band banquet, he was awarded “Person with the Most Hidden Talent,” and he won an award during Upward Bound for “Most Musically Talented Student.”
He has helped his community through programs such as the backpacking program, playing for Veterans Day and Memorial Day services, washing cars, and serving meals with the band at the firehall.
Hess plans to attend Edinboro University or the School of Visual Arts to major in animation.
