  • All senior grades are due on Wednesday, May 22nd. The last day for seniors is Thursday, May 23rd.

  • Any girl intersted in running for Greene County Fair Queen 2019 should turn in their applications before June 1st!

  • Graduation will be held on May 30th, 2019 in the Stanley Fowler Auditorium.

Joelle Pahanish Named Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club December Student of the Month

Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Joelle Pahanish as its student of the month for December.

A daughter of Tammy and Dave Thistlethwaite of Jefferson, Pahanish is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 4.1 GPA.

Pahanish is member of the cheerleading squad and a baton twirler for the JM Rocket Band.

Her awards and recognition’s range from, Junior Miss US Personality Pageants, National Dance Competitions, Tri-State Miss Citrus, Miss American Coed Pre-teen of PA, PA Cinderella  Teen, Citations from Greene County Commissioners, and Spanish 2 recognition.

She has volunteered for Meals On Wheels, The Ronald McDonald House, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Paws For A Cure, Greene County Animal Hospital, and Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Pahanish plans to attend Waynesburg University to major in English. She would like to be a flight attendant.

Tyler Woolen is a senior and a fourth year Journalism student.

She participates in Track and Field and is also a member of Leo Club and the SAAD Club.

Her hobbies include writing, going to concerts, and running.

Woolen enjoys being with her boyfriend, hanging out with friends, and driving everywhere.

She also enjoys watching 80's movies and reading IT.

Woolen is looking forward into studying Clinical Psychology and Sociology after high school and is hoping to have a career either one of those fields.

Woolen also has hopes into going to college at either Auburn University, Clemson University or Slippery Rock University.
