Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Alexandra Royer as its student of the month for February.

Daughter of Kristina Royer and Charles Royer of Waynesburg, Royer is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 3.52 GPA.

Royer is a member of Enrivothon, Science Olympiad, Drama Club Art Club.  She is a four-year member of the band.

She helps her community by collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald Foundation. She also helps maintain the school’s courtyard, and she volunteers to pack backpacks for the JM Weekend Food Program.

In the fall, Royer plans to attend California University of Pennsylvania where she will study secondary education with a minor in writing.
