The Jefferson-Morgan school district is allowing you to serve your community as a school board director. This appointee will serve through November of next year until and possibly through the next election cycle for the calendar. All applicants must be residents of JMSD, registered to vote, and willing to participate in an interview and background checks.

As a school board member, one would be in charge of gathering input from concerned citizens and explain controversial decisions. board members must also defend and support controversial board decisions. Decisions made by the school board are implemented by the district superintendent staff and  this appointee will serve until November of next year when an election is held.
