Kedar Davis is a senior and a five year basketball player.

Kedar began playing basketball his 8th grade year when he moved to Jefferson. He has always taken an interest in the sport. One of Kedar’s favorite things about basketball is being with his team. He also enjoys playing away games and practicing with his team in general.

Kedars favorite memory was going to playoffs. “ It was hard, but we pulled it off”, said Kedar. He wouldn’t have missed this game for the world.

Kedar plays the position of a  small forward. When playing against his teammates in practice, he is very competitive. His goals for this season are to beat Mapletown and to start for his senior year or at least have good playing time.

“Kevin Durant is someone I look up to”, said Kedar. He feels Durant is an all around good person. On and off the court Durant shows great dedication.

Kedar stays in shape as much as he can during the off season by running daily and working out. Before each game he takes anywhere from 30-60 pre game practice shots to make sure he is on point.

There is always a coach who touches your heart. “ Coach Rob is my favorite because he takes his time with us”, said Kedar.

Kedar plans on pursuing his basketball career after high school if he has the opportunity.
