Camryn Dugan is a senior and a member of the Waynesburg varsity rifle team. Camryn has been a member of rifle since she was a freshmen. Rifle is something she enjoys to do and is very good at.

Even though Camryn does not really see herself participating in organized rifle sports in the future, she enjoys the time she has now with her other members. Camryn enjoys the memories she has made over the years, and wants to keep making them throughout this season.

“My goal is to win our section and become section champs,” Camryn said.

Ever since Camryn was little, she loved to hunt and shoot guns. It is something she has done her whole life, so when rifle came to Jefferson Morgan it was a perfect fit. She is one of the top shooters on the team and that is from years of practice.

After asking Camryn what her most memorable rife match was, she said, “When we beat McGuffey by one point and took away their undefeated title.”

To prepare for a rifle match, Camryn practices very hard. She enjoys getting better at the sport.  She enjoys shooting sporting clays and is really familiar with guns.

Good luck to Camryn on achieving her goals for this season and having a good last year here at Jefferson Morgan.
