Autumn Tedrow – Athlete Biography

Autumn Tedrow is a sophomore and a third baseman and a shortstop for the rocket softball team.

Autumn has played softball for 10 years and has lettered once. Her jersey number is 14. When asked who inspires her to play Autumn said, “My grandfather does. We both have a love for baseball and softball.”  Her mom and grandparents are her biggest fans. They go and support her at every game she has.

Playing on a travel softball team all summer long is what keeps Autumn in shape during the off season. She also plays fall ball. This also helps her train in the off season.  She has a ritual of wearing the same ponytail to every game. If she gets into a slump, she will clean off her bat.

When asked what she loves most about the sport Autumn said, “I love being able to play with my friends and give it my all on the field. I love the sport and everything about it.” She mentioned that her favorite memory of the sport involves Chris Dugan giving them pep talks before games. Advice Autumn would like to give to others is “Hustle and practice how you would play in a game.”

Autumn will continue playing softball throughout her high school career. She looks forward to playing West Greene. Autumn has multiple friends on that team and enjoys competing against them. The teams are close on their averages so their games against each other are sure to be good.  Autumn also plans to play after high school.
