Julie Policz is a junior and participates in softball at Jefferson Morgan High School.

Policz is a left/right fielder and has only been playing for one year. Some people that inspire her to play are her parents, friends, and her boyfriend. They always tell her to never give up and that is is okay to fail, as long as she tries.

“My favorite part of softball is being with my friends and hitting. My favorite memory so far, was from hitting the ball when we played Geibel.” said Julie Policz

Softball was always interesting to her so she just decided to play this year. Since it is her first year playing, she doesn’t have any pregame rituals.

“We haven’t played many games so far, but I prefer away games. I like the fact that we get to bat first and I love to travel,” commented Policz.

Julie Policz hopes to continue playing her senior year. Her goal is to just play good and become a letterman.
