Camryn Dugan – Athlete Biography

Camryn Dugan is a junior and a setter for the volleyball team.

“I have lettered in this sport my freshman and sophomore years,” said Camryn. She is looking forward to winning the sections and making it to the playoffs again this year. Her specific goals for this year are making the playoffs.  “My best performance from last year’s season would have to be blocking one of the key hitter’s hits last year during the Carmichaels playoff game.”

Camryn thinks that the most difficult aspect of volleyball is making good passes and staying focused. She also thinks that never backing down or letting up will help you succeed in this sport. Camryn says she doesn’t plan on playing volleyball in college because she wants to focus more on her grades and classes rather than sports.

When asked about her jersey number, Camryn said, “it has always been my number while playing sports. It was my dad’s number as well and holds a lot of value to me.” Camryn also stated that being a setter is difficult. “It’s a lot of hard work. If you’re looking to be a setter, it involves a lot of hustle and running.”

Good luck to Camryn for this upcoming season!
