Zack Tedrow Wrestling Biography

Zack Tedrow is a Jefferson-Morgan Varsity Wrestler.

Zack Tedrow has wrestled for 7 years. His biggest fan is his dad, but his inspiration comes from Gavin Teasdale. He also takes some inspiration from his favorite professional wrestler, Cary Kolat.  Zack’s dad and uncle have wrestled in their past, so Zack takes after them. “I enjoy wrestling a lot, and it is one of the most fun things I have done for school,” said Zack Tedrow.

Zack has had both good and bad memories in his 7 years of wrestling. His best memory he has is winning his first high school pin. One of his worst memories, however, was losing in the WPIALS finals match. On his good and bad days, his go to person is always his coach, Mr. Lesko. He goes to him whether it is for some advice on his bad days, or someone to talk to about his good matches.

So far this season, his record is 1 win and 2 losses. However, last season, his record was 12-9. His hardest opponent he has ever been up against is the state-champ, Eric Hong. “I prefer home matches over away matches, it makes me feel less pressured,” said Zack Tedrow. He stays in shape for his wrestling matches by lifting and going to various amounts of wrestling camp and programs.

Zack’s advice for anyone who is thinking about wrestling is to just stay calm, and have fun when you’re out on the mat.
