Athlete Article- Brendan Howard
Brendan Howard is a senior, and this his last year wrestling for Jefferson Morgan.
“My dad and my grandfather wrestled. Wrestling is important in my family. My Dad and my Mom are my biggest fans, they would never miss a match,” said Brendan.
He looks up the Muhammad Ali as his favorite professional athlete. His inspiration for wrestling is to make his dad proud.The most difficult opponent Howard has faced is Either AC Headlee or Spencer Lee. To prepare in the off season Howard practices and competes in the summer.
“The most difficult thing about wrestling is cutting weight. It takes total commitment, and sacrifice, but the reward is like no other,” said Brendan
Howard favorite moment from this season is when he won Gateway 4 times. Brenda is going to wrestle after high school.
