The Jefferson-Morgan Track Team participated in their first track meet on Thursday, April 11, at Waynesburg High School. The students competed in a few different types of events including throwing, jumping, and running.

Although Jefferson-Morgan was unable to have an actual team this year, a group of students have signed up to participate in a few meets as individuals. They will be attending two more meets this year. The second one will be on April 15 at Waynesburg High School, and the last one will be on April 24, which will be an all day event at California University.

The students are very grateful to be able to participate in a few meets this year, thanks to Mr. Mylan and Mrs. Cochran for volunteering as chaperones. “This is my first time ever running track, and I absolutely love it! I am so happy that our school was able to make this happen.”, said student athlete Madelyn Reeves.
