Jacob Broadwater is a freshman and a member of the Jefferson-Morgan baseball team.

Baseball is a hobby Broadwater started in third grade and has been playing for seven years.

Jacob was asked why he chose to play baseball. Broadwater answered with, “I started playing baseball because it is something I wanted to try and I enjoy it.”

Playing a sport takes lots of practice and kindness to other teammates. Being on a team is something everybody has to work on to be better at because it makes the experience better.

Jacob was asked how he felt about his teammates. Broadwater replied with, “My team is just like my family and I like being with my friends.”

Jacob has some challenges playing baseball. He would like to work on some things to make himself a better player. Fixing mistakes in a sport is very important. Broadwater then said, “I would like to work on my batting.”

There are many positions in baseball. Jacob has some positions that he likes to play.

Broadwater said, “I play third base, shortstop and I also pitch. I love the positions that I play.”

Jacob Broadwater has many favorite things about baseball. Broadwater likes his team, his positions and his friends that also participate in baseball. Jacob may also want to continue this sport after high school, but he is still unsure.
