Brynn Boyd is a junior and a member of the basketball team.

Boyd has been playing basketball since second grade and decided to play this season because she cannot imagine not playing.

Boyd believes that a team needs to have good chemistry to play well, and that the best advice she has ever been given by a mentor is to have heart. “If you play like you hate the sport, you are not going to do well,” said Boyd.

She is most excited for their game against Monessen because last season they won by a significant number of points. Boyd’s ultimate goal for this would be to make it to playoffs.

To anyone thinking of joining the basketball team next year, Boyd says, “Definitely join! Next year we only have 3 returning players, so we need new players!”
