Anthony Shifflett is a freshman and a member of the varsity basketball team.

Shifflet has been playing basketball for six years, but this is only his first year on the varsity team. He works very hard at practice and after school to acquire the skills he needs to have to obtain his position on the team.

“My favorite thing about basketball is staying in shape,” said Shifflett.

His favorite position on the court is forward, although his height is sometimes challenging.

“I’m only 5’7”,” he said.

Shifflett and the rest of his team are excited to see what the rest of this year brings them and hope to win many more games.
