Mason McNett is a sophomore and a member of the varsity football team

As a two year starter, McNett has played in many games and has many accomplishments on the football team. McNett plays right guard, inside linebacker and defensive tackle. Playing these positions take a lot of heart and determination. Mason’s goal for this season is to win more games than last year.

“Beating Mapletown is always a must,” said McNett. “I always look forward to that game because its almost like our rivalry game.” According to McNett, the team’s most difficult opponents this season are OLSH, and West Greene.

As a sophomore and two year starter McNett has played many games and learned a lot of things that he could share with his underclassmen.

“Just play with heart,” McNett said.

McNett has played football for eight years and is ready for this season with the team, but hopes to have a better outcome than last year when the team went 2-8 and finished sixth in the Tri-County South Conference.

McNett says that he thinks the team has a lot of potential this year and if they work hard they could have a good season and possibly a shot at the playoffs.
