Spring Gardening
Spring time brings Flowers!
There are many types of flowers that are super popular in the spring time, but one of the flowers that are favored a little more than any other flower is the sunflower. Sunflowers are a big thing that everyone wants to plant gets pictures with have them in bouquets for dances and so on.
The best time to start planting sunflowers is late spring. The ground/soil has to reach 70-80 degrees F to germinate but the best time to put the seeds in is before it reaches that temperature. Plants should be covered at night when temperatures are below 32 degrees. Remove the covering during the day so that the soil warms up.
All plants need researched before buying or planting them because it will save you the trouble of having to dig up a dying/dead or sick plant.
