Trystan Weir named Clarksville Lions Club February Student of the Month
Trystan Weir, son of Sean and Brenda Weir of Waynesburg, is Clarksville Lions Club February Student of the Month.
Trystan is a firefighter/EMT of Jefferson VFC and is a member of the Hunting Hills Hawkeyes.
As a junior, Weir received the Junior Firefighter of the year 2014-PA. He also earned the PA-NREMT (The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians’) certification. In 2014, Trystan won first place skills USA firefighting in regionals and states. In 2015, Trystan took first place skills USA firefighting in regionals and will participate in states in April.
In the fall, Trystan intends to join the Airforce for Fire Protection. After his service, he would like to study nursing and ultimately become a flight nurse with LifeFlight.
