Madison Kovach Named Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club November Student of The Month

Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Madison Kovach as its student of the month for November. 

A daughter of Renee and Jeff Kovach of Jefferson, Kovach  is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 3.8 GPA.

Kovach is a two year letterman in academics. Kovach is the secretary of the Library Club, vice-president of the Art Club, a yearbook editor, and the chief editor of the school newspaper, she is also a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Leo Club, and Drama Club. Outside of school Kovach is the secretary of the Greene County Rabbit club and spends her weekends being a waitress at the Airport Restaurant.

She serves her community through volunteer work with her 4-H clubs. Kovach participates in the Keep America Beautiful roadside cleanup campaign, packs backpacks for the school’s weekend food program, and rings bells for the Salvation Army.             

Upon graduation, Kovach plans to attend the University of South Carolina to major in Early Childhood Education.
