Maci Marion Named Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club October Student of the Month
Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lion Club has selected Maci Marion as its student of the month for October.
The daughter of Vanissa Cole and the late Thomas Utke of Rices Landing, Marion is a senior at Jefferson Morgan High School where she maintains a 3.91 GPA.
Marion has served as student council class president since her freshman year. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Debate team, and Leo Club. She was editor of the school newspaper The Rocket Reporter for two years. During her sophomore and junior years, she was on the golf team.
She has volunteered at the Colby’s Stars Foundation kickball tournament, and she has volunteered at youth basketball games at Beth Center.
After high school, Marion plans to major in business management or human resources.
