Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Joshua Bair as its student of the month for September.
Son of John Bair and Erica Chidester of Jefferson, Bair is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School. He is a third-year construction student at Greene County Career and Technical Institute.
He is a member of Carmichaels Methodist Church.
Bair is a member of Troop 1168 Rices Landing. For his Eagle Scout project, Bair is installing lighting for the flagpole located outside Jefferson-Morgan High School. A bench will also be added to the flagpole area.
Bair plays trumpet for the JM marching band.
His community service includes Scouting for Food, Keep America Beautiful roadway cleanup, and participation in veterans memorial services.
After graduation, Bair plans to attend trade school.
