Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Ava Bertagnolli as its Student of the Month for September.
Daughter of Rick and Jodi Bertagnolli of Rices Landing, Bertagnolli is a senior at Jefferson Morgan where she maintains a 4.45 GPA.
Bertagnolli is a member of National Honor Society. She volunteers for events that support women’s shelters and homeless shelters. She also volunteers for organizations that support animal welfare.
Bertagnolli is an accomplished equestrian. She has won two Pleasure Equitation Triple Crowns, three National Hunter Pleasure Championships, two World Championships, and over five Reserve World Championships.
After graduation, Bertagnolli plans to study pathology.
