Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Lauren Uveges as its student of the month for April. Daughter of Johnathan and Beth Lawver, Uveges is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan where she maintains a 3.6 GPA.
Uveges attends Blainesburg Bible Church.
She is a member of the drama club.
Lauren attends Greene County Career and Technical Center where she studies Culinary Arts. Uveges has earned three gold medals for competing at Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. She has traveled to competitions in San Diego and Denver. She was a member of the 2023 STAR Events National Team where she competed in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation category.
After graduation, Uveges plans to study event management.
