No Regrets
Many times I have been told to make sure that I live my life so that I will not have any regrets. That, for me at least, is easier said than done. Trying to build up the courage to ask a guy to a dance or even ask your crush since kindergarten out is some regrets many people have. Maybe it is senior year and you came to the realization that you love a sport but, it is too late. There are many different types of regrets and I go day by day hoping that I do not have any regrets for that day.
Not having regrets is the hardest part of growing up. I do not think that people are afraid of growing old but, that they had not lived their life to the fullest or had done everything they wanted to. Many times I think that if I changed my answer to one question how different my life could be. If I said yes would I be disappointed or would I be happier than I am now? Going through life trying to make the best out of every day is a very difficult task. Some days you just do not feel up to it and all you want to do is lay down on the couch with the fuzziest blanket you have and your favorite television show. Other days you might feel like you could do anything you wanted to but, you just do not know what to.
I personally, love having my lazy days. Although, I feel as if I am doing nothing with my life but, I am too tired and stressed from the week that not moving seems like the best option. I try to do something new every day. Whether that be to talk to someone different or trying a new combination of my favorite foods. Trying to live out my life to the fullest is not exactly easy in high school but, anything that is worth it does not come easy. How do you make sure you live your lie with no regrets? I could not tell you but, I do know if you make sure you do what makes you happy you will be just fine. So, until I have a way to figure out how I am going to live my life with no regrets I will just do what I love every day.
