McDonald’s McCafe Peppermint Mocha Has Made Return For The 2016 Holiday Season
November 2nd, McDonald’s brought back the McCafe Peppermint Mocha for 2016, a holiday favorite. The holiday drink can be served hot or cold depending on your choosing. The Peppermint Mocha is made of 100 percent Arabica bean espresso, dark chocolate syrup, peppermint, steamed milk, whipped cream, and a chocolate drizzle.
If you aren’t a real fan of coffee then there is always a Peppermint Hot Chocolate. No Arabica beans, just the peppermint syrup and steamed milk topped off with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. The Peppermint Mocha made its first appearance in 2011, as McDonald’s first seasonal beverage.
In my opinion, I prefer the iced peppermint mocha only because I can’t taste the espresso as much as I can in the hot mocha. Plus, you wouldn’t have to worry about your drink getting cold either if you get an iced mocha. A Peppermint Mocha costs around $2.99, prices and availability may vary by location.
