Looking for a new trilogy to read?

A fun little trilogy is Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and that is the first book of the series. The Second book is called Hollow City and the third book is Library of Souls. I truly enjoy this series. The genres are young adult fiction and dark fantasy. It was written by Ransom Riggs.

The first book in the series was released on June 7, 2011. This is a story of a boy who is following a horrific family tragedy and follows clues that take him to an abandoned children’s home on a Welsh island.

Some of the characters names in the books are Jacob Portman, Enoch O’Connor, Bronwyn Bruntley, Emma Bloom, Millard Nullings, Miss Alma Peregrine, Doctor Golan, Olive, and Hugh.

Hollow City, the second book, was released January 14, 2014. The plot of this book is almost the same as the first but with a twist. The book is set right after the first, and Jacob and his friends flee from Miss Peregrine’s to the “peculiar capital of the world.” London.

Library of Souls was released on September 22, 2015. Following with the series, time is running out for the Peculiar Children. With a dangerous madman on the loose and their beloved Miss Peregrine still in danger, Jacob Portman and Emma Bloom are forced to stage the most daring of rescue missions. They’ll travel through a war-torn landscape, meet new allies, and face greater dangers than ever. Will Jacob come into his own as the hero his fellow Peculiars know him to be?

With the series, readers something of the supernatural aspect, along the lines of Sci-fi. So do you dare to read this series?
