Galentine’s Day is slowly becoming a nationwide holiday for women with no valentine. This day is set for these women to hang out with their best friends do to everything that a couple would do.

In 2010, the television series Parks and Recreation had an episode called “Galentine’s Day.” In this episode, the day was actually February 13th as oppose to 14th. This is one of the first times this unofficial holiday was brought alive to the public, but most enjoy to celebrate on actual Valentine’s Day so that those without a lover do not feel left out.

Overall, Galentine’s Day is a holiday for anyone to celebrate even if they do not have a significant other, so that no one feels left out.
