An even I am looking forward to is my 16^th birthday. I have not had a birthday party since I was little, and I want to do something really fun this year. With turning 16 though there are more opportunities for me. I can get my permit and later on license and a job so I can actually start fending for myself a little bit more. On your 16^th birthday though I think people also expect more from you as your becoming more of an adult, and let you do more things.

When I become 16 it is another year for me to become better at what I love, develop deeper connections with friends, and you get to meet new ones. When I’m 16 it is a new year for me to explore, and enjoy. My parents give me a little more freedom due to being older and more mature that I used to be. As teens know, some freedom from your parents is a very nice thing.

Another event I am looking forward to is hanging out with my family over the summer. I do not get to see my family often because they live quite a ways away. I get to go to Minnesota and chill out with my uncle, aunt, and their two kids. I love kids and getting to hang out with my cousins makes the time even more special.

They also live in the suburbs which gives me the chance to experience life in the city.  I have definitely come to love that part of the stay. I not only have enjoyed the sights but being able to get close to my family in a way I never thought I would. They are the sweetest people and I am so thankful I get to be more a part of their life and experience new things with them.
