On Wednesday, September 26th, students met at the flagpole in front of the school to gather and pray at 7:00 am before class started.  The event was organized as part of the national See You at the Pole day of prayer as part of the global week of student prayer.

The prayer was led by the youth group advisers of the Jefferson Baptist Church and Hewitt Presbyterian Church, as well as staff adviser Mrs. Kniha. The prayer session was organized by the youth group, but was offered to any student within the school.

Youth group sessions are open to anyone and are from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm on Sundays across from the Jefferson Baptist Church, in the same building as Novak’s Chiropractic Center.
