The reading club took a trip to see the play “Hamilton” on Friday, January 25th at the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Not only did the club get to see the play, but so did 2700 other students from Pittsburgh area schools. In order to get tickets, all students had to create some sort of writing, whether it was a rap, a writing, or a script, to turn into the Hamilton education program. The best submissions had the opportunity to perform their work on the stage at the Benedum.

Before the play, students met with cast members for a question and answer session. Students had the opportunity to send in questions early, and questions from the audience were asked as well.
