JM Competes in Science Olympiad
This past Wednesday, March 6th, the Science Olympiad team competed in the competition held at California University of Pennsylvania.
Each student competed in different events for the team, and one team won their event. Bria Jamison and Brittany Nelson won the mousetrap vehicle contest out of everyone in their division. “I actually can’t believe we won,” said Brittany Nelson. “Big thanks to Mr. Pratt for his help.” The competition was an overall success for all of the competitors, as well.
The team will meet again on March 21st during flex period to celebrate their achievements.
With many seniors graduating this year, the Science Olympiad will be looking for new members. Anyone interested in joining can talk to Mrs. Cox or Mrs. Kniha.
