On Friday October 18th our Varsity Rocket football team took on the West Greene Pioneers. The final score of this game was 62 to 8. 

Although the Rockets suffered a loss during this game one of West Greene’s top players, Benjamin Jackson was attempting to set the Greene county career rushing record. Jackson needed 300 yards against the Rockets to achieve his goal. 300 yards for Jackson on any other night would have came easily, but the Rockets defense held him less than 300 yards until a final break away halfway through the fourth quarter!
