Last Friday, before the boy’s basketball team took on the Mapletown Maples, senior Cole Tretinik came down with an injury while warming up.

He injured his ankle and was helped to the trainer’s room so she could look at the injury. “I was injured attempting a vicious layup,” said Tretinik. 

After the trainer wrapped his ankle, he was taken to Waynesburg Hospital so that he could see what was truly wrong. The doctors said that he has a bone infusion, and he must see an orthopedic specialist.

Tretinik stated that he does not know when he will be back on the court with his team, and at this time he does not know whether  he will require a cast.
